Who We Are

MZ Hair Salon has spent two decades sharpening our craft in Richmond, and every stylist on our team is a certified professional who treats your chair time as it matters. We are a women-led salon with our own close-knit crew, and we like to think that shows in the way we listen before the first snip. Some folks want a quick refresh, and a basic haircut with us usually runs about twenty-five minutes. Others want something built from the ground up, and that is where our tailored approach comes in.

When you sit down for a women's haircut, a men's haircut, or a kid's haircut, we look at face shape, hair type, and the way you actually live before we pick up the shears. That means real trimming, thoughtful layering, and a finish that holds its shape when you get home. For the guys, our beard trimming covers shaping, grooming, and clean edges so the whole look ties together.

Color is a big part of what we do too. Whether you want full hair coloring, a simple root touch-up, a soft balayage, or a correction to fix a job that went sideways elsewhere, we take the time to get the tone right the first time. We also make busy days easy with hair highlights and a proper hair blowout when you want to feel put together for something special. We are licensed and insured, so you can relax and let us handle the details.
